Skanky Panky Records are back with their 5th release and another instalment of their hugely popular VA EP series. Skanky Panky Volume 3 will be out in the wild May 1st. Flexing their muscles in eclectic tune selection Skanky Panky Vol 3 packs in dancefloor scorchers along with head nodding funk cuts and post-club gems.

We start the proceedings with J.me.J’s new latest, The Champion, Possibly our favourite from the Vancouver based prodigy. Huge drums and distorted bass are fused to a G-Funk style lead line and smeared with a whole heap of FUNK! Serious dancefloor fodder.

Next up is New Zealand’s tech hop monster – K+Lab. Weve been loving all of K-Labs releases to date and he has certainly come with the goods this time! K=Lab’s contribution, Talking Smack, is chugs along at 100bpm. Old skool hip hop and funk samples ride over a huge drum break and a dirty growling bassline. An undeniable ass shaker.

Then a track that we know a lot of you have been waiting for! …and for good reason! Stickybuds is another artists we’ve be wanting to work with for a while and he has delivered an absolute devastator with “Boh Riddim!”. Brutally heavy ragga infused glitch hop builds and breaks into a shit storm of sub pounding DnB. Were not sure what to call this so listen for yourself. We defy you not to head bang to this one.

Changing gears for a moment Son Of A Gltich brings a slice of Glitch Pop to the proceedings with “Together”. Whats this? Insanely hooky vocal cut alongside euphoric disco piano stabs and big filthy electro bass wobbles? Yes, that shit works…..WELL! Adam Rowdyman’s vocals really hit the spot. If Beck did glitch hop it might sound something like this. I smell a summer glitch hop anthem.

Bringing up the caboose we have something a bit off the beaten track. The Jazz Mags’ “108” is a heavy slab of minimal Acid, tasty enough to make Luke Vibert raise an eyebrow or 2. Glitchy beats and squelchy stabs syncopate beautifully. There’s something old skool yet completely fresh about this early doors groover. We love it and were pretty sure you will too.

We offer the cheapest price for our releases compared to any other online shop and buying directly from S.P.R. greatly benefits the artist and us as a label. Thank you!
